Beatles Authentic Peeled Mono 3rd State Butcher Cover w/Removed Trunk Cover
Beatles 1966 Beautiful Genuine Scranton Peeled Mono Butcher Cover w/Peeled Trunk Cover and Mono Pressing
One the better Mono Butcher Covers that I have owned. What a great holiday gift for a Beatles fan. A true investment piece, the colors are vibrant and rich. This peel is as good as anything you will ever see ! The jacket is in generally strong condition. If it doesn't sell, then I will probably keep it. These are definitely getting more expensive to acquire in this condition.
Overall, this cover is used but in nice condition with light wear to the back and a few abrasion marks . Other than this , the seams are intact with just a few inches of separation on the bottom seam near the end of the seam . Although the spine is not perfect, it is mostly complete with most of the writing present and only a few missing paper chips and cracks throughout (see photo) . Overall, a daily solid jacket for its age.
Please examine the photos carefully for exact condition. Near Mint Peeled Mono Butcher Covers can sell for as high as $1400 or more if they are really nice. This is a guaranteed original 1966 Capitol 3rd state (Peeled) Mono Butcher cover.
Also, this album cover comes with the peeled trunk slick in one piece with some wrinkling ,slight tearing from the peeling process condition as shown. This is in good enough condition , in my opinion, to be framed. Original Capitol Scranton Mono pressing in G condition ( small name written on side one, light scratches but plays through with some minor noise here and there) with inner sleeve.
Please note that the Beatles t-shirt seen in the background is NOT INCLUDED in this auction ! Please remember when bidding that this is a used album being sold in the condition as shown and this is a peeled version ,not a first state, so any minor imperfections are the result of the gluing process at the Capitol factory or the removal process. Any questions , please feel free to ask.
