BEGGAR'S OPERA - ACT ONE

Rare, sought after 1st pressing in unheard of played once mint condition!

Year/Label : 1970 GERMAN Vertigo Swirl Label number : 6360 018 Matrix numbers : AA 6360 018 1 Y, AA 6360 018 2Y
NEAR MINT (NM) condition vinyl - the only reason I am grading as "near mint" rather than "mint" is because I have just played the record, and for me "mint" means unplayed. But to all intents and purposes this is a mint condition record.  Completely flat, weighty and retaining it's original impressive jet black lacquered sheen, both sides of the vinyl are unmarked. Amazing!  The labels are in pristine condition, as you would expect. As if any further proof was needed, the fact that it took me a good 5 minutes to get the spindle through the centre hole and then extricate it again upon playing proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that this record has been played only once!   Mint (M) condition H.O. Persiel iconic outer gateold sleeve with not a scuff, bend, crease, or even tiny "nick" in sight. Perfect, as new!   Superb, MINT (M) sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, clicks, distortion or background crackle - wonderful tone and crystal clear audio quality throughout with cracking guitar and organ play - every track is a wonderful listen : organ and guitar solos abound - outrageous prog!  Comes with plain white poly-lined inner sleeve with no side splits, age discolouration or edge fraying - perhaps the hint of a couple of surface creases but nothing really.  Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original.   You won't find a better condition German 1st pressing of this wonderful prog rarity than this!
POSTAGE COSTS :

For the UK £4 using Royal Mail tracked 48;

for continental Europe £11 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for,

and for the rest of the world £17 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for.

I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases. I make no profit from postage.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.

A bit about myself : I have been collecting UK vinyl for over 54 years from a variety of sources : my own collection, friends and family, car boot and garage sales, door-to-door leaflets, and even through placing an advert in my wife's shop window! My ebay feedback speaks for itself so rest assured that you are buying from a trusted seller and in the very unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase just e-mail me and I will sort out the problem. I offer a "no questions asked" refund policy. If you require any further information, including photos, then let me know and I'll do my best to oblige. There is NO RESERVE on this item. Richard
