BETTY WRIGHT - LIVE-ALSTON RECORDS 4408 FUNK SOUL NM VINYL RARE LP FIRST PRESS.
First and foremost, this is a fantastic vinyl record as Betty Wright is a tight soul vocalist with excellent instrumental backing. Betty Wright's outstanding songwriting and song selection including Leon Russell's, " A Song For You" are qualities to enjoy .
This vinyl record is graded VG+ as it was play tested and plays through without any issues. There are hairline scratches, fingerprints and light scuffing consistent with age. Theses days it's carefully handled and put away after listening. The main issue with many older records is static.
The original inner sleeve was just white paper but is included. The above generic white inner sleeve has been replaced by a mobile fidelity archival anti-static ,acid free , Non scratching inner sleeve.
The record cover is still in factory shrink wrap and is in EX condition. There are small white dings on all four corners. When examining the photos note that the shrink wrap itself is old not the cardboard record sleeve. The shrink wrap contains a small circular sticker which reads Scott's one-stop which was a distributor located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
