Description

"Like Yesterday" by Beverly Kenney. This rarely seen Jazz LP is a Promo pressing on the deep groove, Pink Decca label, DL-8948. This is an original absolute first pressing edition. This album was issued in 1960.
Beverly Kenney is backed by Jerome Richardson, woodwinds--Ed Shaughnessy, drums--Bill Pemberton, bass--Chuck Wayne, guitar and Stan Free, piano.
Beverly Kenney's star was certainly on the rise when in 1960 her personal demons overwhelmed her. Sadly, she tried to defeat her Blues with her Reds. Beverly Kenney committed suicide on April 13, 1960. She was 28 years old.
