A truly amazing augmentation to any vintage blues collection or for any serious investment collector. Original 78 RPM of Blind Willie Johnson titled The Rain Don't Fall On Me b/w Trouble Will Soon Be Over, issued on Columbia 14537. Has noticeable wear and shows improper handling scars with g- appearance, but plays far better than appearance might suggest at about 60/40 dominant over extraneous noise and wear factor. No skips or intrusive revolutions. Label is vg with some wear and needle scratches. No edge flake or other deterioration present. Guaranteed as described and insurance is recommended. I have included a very realistic fair value reserve price for this item. I am not responsible for uninsured parcels and all uninsured overseas parcels will include Certificate Of Mailing. Please visit my companion related 78 RPM listings. Thank you.
I don't mind rational inquiries and questions that are pertinent to my individual auction listings, but please, before contacting me with any question, read my entire item description and my auction related information. I do not respond to any nonsensical e-mails, to include requests for shipping cost or unethical offers to buy outright and close auction.
I will contact winning bidder, usually within 24 hours of auction close and provide shipping and payment details. For domestic buyers I accept Paypal, money order (Postal money orders are the best and preferred, inexpensive for you and very convenient for me), cashiers check, no personal checks (only established previous buyers). For overseas buyers I accept Paypal, Universal Postal Money Order (US funds). Cash is accepted for COD (cash on delivery) or for in person transactions. Please, payments must be received within 14 days of my initial invoice providing total cost.

RECORD GRADING FOR 78 RPM RECORDS
Bargain lot items are visually graded. Individual auction records are play graded. I place emphasis on play grade, maintain the highest professional standards, do spot check play grading on all individual auction items and always provide an accurate visual grade and label appearance. I play grade on a quality system with a high end cartridge in order to maintain a strict and undisguised play grade. I always keep my grading simple and fair and will not subject my customers to a proliferation of meaningless grades. If a record plays between two grades I always apply the lesser grade, I don't create a grade in an attempt to articulate a borderline evaluation. I use Docks American Premium Record Guide grading of records.
NEW (N) Apparently unplayed and showing no signs of wear.
EXCELLENT (E) Showing only slight wear. Playing surfaces still retain much of their original shine. Surface noise is minimal. No major imperfections. Grooves may have minor scuffs or surface scratches. A very playable and acceptable copy.
VERY GOOD (VG) Somewhat more worn and mishandled copy with audible extraneous surface noise. Grooves may have visual scuffs and scratches and at times a slight grayness, especially appearing in the louder passages. Still a very playable copy.
GOOD (G) A misnomer. a "good" record is really not so good. It shows considerable wear and usage, grayness in grooves, random mars and light abrasions from sleevless existence. Surface noise is prominent enough to impair or overwelm music.
POOR (P) I rarely list poor condition 78's, but at times will if it is a rare item. Poor 78's will generally have a below 50/50 ratio of surface noise over music and may have cracks, deep scratches, digs, edge chips and flake, flutter or warp factor and are sold as is. I do not artificially gloss any of my records.
