This is a RARE ORIGINAL AND UNIQUE UK 1977 TEST PRESSING PUNK ALBUM by BLONDIE - PLASTIC LETTERS from 1977, ORIGINAL UK TEST PRESSING IN AMAZING CONDITION !!!
This is a RARE AND UNIQUE UK TEST PRESSING of this landmark album !!!, it comes with TEST PRESSING VINYL with added HAND WRITTEN LABELS and CORRECTION STICKERS on the labels, it also comes with a UNIQUE HAND MADE PROMO SLEEVE with a CHRYSALIS LABEL INFORMATION sheet stuck on it.
It also includes a 5 PAGES CHRYSALIS PRESS PACK with band information and band history and biog and also comes with the ORIGINAL CHRYSALIS RECORDS LABEL COPY insert which PROVES that this TEST PRESSING album was pressed in 1977 and was first supposed to be released in 1977, but the release date was pushed back to the 3rd of Feb. 1978 by which time the matrices have been changed and possibly THIS TEST PRESSING VERSION IS UNIQUE AND DIFFERENT !!!!
THIS TEST PRESSING ALSO COMES WITH A UNIQUE A//1 P 1 1 1 and B//1 P 1 1 1 promo only matrices (the P stand for PROMO) and could be slightly different mix then the official released version which had completely different matrices !!!
The TEST PRESSING ALBUM was pressed by CHRYSALIS RECORDS catalogue number CHR 1166.
The matrix numbers are: SIDE 1: CHR 1166 A//1 P (the P is unique to this TEST PRESSING and stands for PROMO) and then 11 and 1 (all machine stamped) and then TONE etched, SIDE 2: CHR 1166 B//1 P and then 11 and 1 (all machine stamped) THESE ARE UNIQUE MATRIX NUMBERS THAT HAVE NEVER COME OUT ON THE OFFICIAL RELEASE AND ARE THE EARLIEST PRESSING FROM 1977 OF THIS ALBUM !!!!
The condition of the TEST PRESSING VINYL is in EX++/ EX+++ condition (HAND WRITTEN LABELS WITH CORRECTION STICKERS) + HAND MADE PROMO SLEEVE is in VG+ /VG++ condition + 5 PAGES PROMO ONLY INSERTS / PRESS PACK in EX condition + PROMO CHRYSALIS LABEL COPY INSERT in VG++ condition !!!
