Description
Rare Record Collector Grading System: (NM, EX, VG, G) A record in VG- resp. G condition will have respectively less or more pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including needle scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. A record in VG condition has been often played and will have a number of needle scratches and other marks which are not deep enough to be felt with a fingernail and/or will have some groove wear in places.
You would be bidding on used vintage records. Even if they look visually perfect, could have at times some slight surface noise/static/ticks from the manufacture when played, which could be expected from some vintage vinyl. The sound of the vintage pressings is very dynamic and full-bodied. Play grading is done with tube High-End System and Headphones for the most rigorous and accurate, as well as the most conservative approach. The ambient listening sound quality should be better.

BLUE MITCHELL– The Thing to Do, 1st. US press. 1962 stereo Vinyl LP, BLUE NOTE New York USA, BST 84178, RVG and “ear” (Plastylite Pressing), non-laminated thick cover.
Vinyl grade: VG+. The thick Vinyl looks played (some spindle traces on the labels) and shows slight hairlines, some scuffs. Beautifully recorded Rudy van Gelder engineered original vintage pressing with a strong, deep, rich, loud and powerful dynamic sound. The record plays clean with slight occasional background noise and few slight ticks in places. On Side 2 is a thin scratch at the end of the first and begin of the second track resulting in ticks. The Cover shows wear, edge and corner wear, stains on the back cover. (please see the Photos)
Zustand: VG+. Die LP wurde abgespielt (Spuren auf den Labels) und hat leichte haarfeine Kratzer, Wischer. Die LP spielt laut und sehr dynamisch mit leichten Hintergrundgeräuschen und gelegentlichen leichten Ticks. Auf der Seite 2 ist ein dünner Kratzer am Ende von Track 1 und Anfang von Track 2 welcher zu Ticks führt. Das Cover hat Gebrauchsspuren, die Kanten und Ecken haben Gebrauchsspuren, Knicke, Flecken auf der hinteren Seite des Covers (bitte siehe die Fotos)
