Description

BO DIDDLEY - BO DIDDLEY LP Chess CH-1431-LP Black Labels.

This copy is pressed on deep groove heavy weight vinyl.  The front cover has been pasted on, but the back has not. Spine is blank. The matrix on this record signifies first pressing, but is slightly different then any discogs listing that has been made, and nothing can be found on this.  This record was found in Bo Diddley's home town!

Matrix:
A Side: J8OP 5247-1      I     B4
B Side: J8OP 5248 1A    I     A4

Condition: Strong VG (Plays more like VG+) Cover VG (front is VG+)

Wax has a lot of hairlines, but nothing deep.  Lots of good luster left on this record.  Sound sampled there was one or two faint clicks on A side, and a a click or two and a swoosh for a couple rotations on B side. 

Cover color has shown its age a bit on front.  Back cover has wrinkles.  Top seam is split about 60%.  Back cover has wrinkles.  See picture for better description!

This is a truly a unique find!  To find a first pressing of a sought after album that has an unlisted matrix that's not been documented is hard to come by! 



Hear both sides!  Sound samples made from actual record using low quality turntable.  Guaranteed a better sound on your home deck.
