Description

The Beatles "Second Album" first-pressing black label with rainbow perimeter (without subsidiary print) stereo LP...with the rare misspelling of the second song on Side 2 "I CALL YOU NAME" (sic).  This auction is the last listing for this month and I'm proud to offer this piece.  The true near mint cover [CAP 2080.SC1(Spizer)] is still in the untorn shrinkwrap with two small breathholes.  There is no RIAA award seal, no pressing plant number on the back, yet does have the needle statement at the back bottom center.   This is a super-crisp cover with original inner sleeve.  The stunning true near mint record [CAP 2080.SR3A(Spizer)] absolutely looks unplayed...it is like a mirror on both sides with perfect unspoiled labels.  It has the running time for "Long Tall Sally" but not "I Call You Name" (with BMI credit for the latter).  This one is the perfect keeper if you've been looking for a stunning near mint first pressing - with the rare misspelling of "I Call You Name", taboot!  There is a small, old price sticker at the very top right corner.  U.S. buyer to pay $6.00 for double-boxed priority shipping (media available at $3.00 upon request).  International buyer to inquire for shipping costs.  Insurance is at the discretion of the buyer.  Please email me with any questions.
