THE BEATLES - 'A HARD DAY'S NIGHT'
This rare UK stereo pressing variant dates from 1966 on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3058
Both labels have the 'Sold in UK...' text with 'The Gramophone Co...' worded rims.
This pressing is unique because the wording "Songs from the film 'A Hard Day's Night'" appears on BOTH labels.
A 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 1 label.
Matrix numbers: YEX 126-1 & YEX 127-1
Stamper codes: 3/AM & 2/MD
Vinyl weight: 149g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the small front stereo indicator.
Complete with its original 'Patents Applied For...' inner-sleeve.

A superb set showing a handful of light spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole and just two on side 1.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces are perfectly clean and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine. Apart from a single light, non-feelable/non-audible mark on track 1 on side 1, it is flawless.
Audio: MINT
Played just a couple of times on high-end equipment, the sound quality is pristine and wonderful throughout.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
This strong and fully intact example bears moderate age/storagwear. The front panel is clean with some loss of shine through storage although no 'thumbnail' wrinkles or creasing are present. There is some bruising to the corner tips but both opening edges are unworn. The rear panel shows a number of light age-related marks as illustrated. All flipbacks are intact, as are both seams and the fully worded spine.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & white with minor storage wrinkles and no writing, tears or seam splits.
