Astonishing example.
*NEAR MINT* 1964 UK *MONO* PRESSING LP
On the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1230
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims
An 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.
Housed in the front laminated, tri-flipback Garrod and Lofthouse printed cover with the 'mid-sized' mono logo.
Complete with its original white 'Use Emitex' rice paper lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 481-3N & XEX 482-3N
Stamper numbers: 1/TL & 1/LO...extremely early

Beautiful labels with a few light and slight spindle marks, crisp.
Visual: NEAR MINT PLUS
Visually one of the best early pressing vinyls I have ever seen for this. No scratches, bright and clean...really no sleeve removal wisps either....spectacular...almost unbelievable at this point in time.
Play: NEAR MINT PLUS
I am not sure this played any better off the press, clear and dynamic with no distractions...it is a terrific player...will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A superb example of this rare cover with a vibrant, high-gloss front laminate. There is an inch long rub to the bottom seam which is not significant, just a light mark. There are two ink marks on the back, the purpose of which is unknown...they are in the photos and do not affect any graphics or print. . All flipbacks are excellent and the spine is clean & fully worded.
Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT
Clean with a hint of age discoloration, no splits.

MINT MINUS is like new but probably played once or twice...most would grade this mint
NEAR MINT is near new with some slight signs of play...an extremely clean record
VERY GOOD PLUS is collectible but might have some light sleeve marks and some light noise...still plays very well with no major issues.
I WILL USE (+) AND (-) FOR EMPHASIS ON THE BASIC GRADES...I DO NOT LIST ITEMS LESS THAN VERY GOOD PLUS UNLESS THEY ARE EXTREMELY RARE AND THEN A FULL DISCLOSURE WILL BE PROVIDED. BID WITH CONFIDENCE.
