Description
Here is a insanely rare copy of the Beatles "Introducing The Beatles" LP. OK ... Where to start with this one?! So many rare features all rolled into one! With Vee-Jay Records doing everything in their power to get these albums into stores, there was a time when they didn't have any stereo slicks for their LPs. Their solution was to use mono slicks, and stamp them with "Stereophonic", and get them out the door. This is one of those rare beauties! This is the Version 2 edition, with the column back. When I found this copy, it came in an old plastic poly bag. I'm not sure if it's original, but I'll include it anyway. This cover shows slight shelf wear, but the seams are all strong all the way around. The cover passes the "honey" test, and, is also one of the rare mono covers that had the small number 2 printed in the lower, right corner. The vinyl would grade a out at VG+, but one side has a couple of pretty bad scratches. I don't have the ability to play test the vinyl, but you can see them in the pictures. Vinyl comes with the black labels w/ the silver block VJ lettering. "Stereo" at 9 o'clock. Guaranteed for both the cover and vinyl to be original. This is a rare piece of Beatles rock and roll history. These particular copies are very hard to find. Don't let this one get away!
