Beatles LP Greatest Hits Vol. 2 Australia Orange Parlophone Label NM
NOTE: In the years before Capitol released the “Rarities” LP in March of 1980, collectors like myself routinely picked up foreign pressings of Beatles albums, because the other countries were treated to many, many different mixes than the U.S. got. Compilations were the best bet, in order to get a wide sampling.
Unfortunately, it’s been four decades since listening to these, and so I can’t remember all of the nuanced versions contained on these discs. But I can tell you that several of them did not appear on the “Rarities” album.
Vinyl--- NM. Store stock brand new-looking.
Cover--- VG++, meaning NM, but a little yellowed.
Labels--- NM. Beautiful orange Parlophone labels with black text. Store stock-looking.
Inner Sleeve--- Australian rice paper inner sleeve with rounded bottom. Keeps the vinyl looking like the day it was purchased.
Note: All LP’s ship outside of their album covers in order not to damage the covers during shipment.

(Please note: Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized. The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle. Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix? Thanks!)
As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
