Let It Be – Box set – Rare vinyl
Comprises: Outer box sleeve, Inner book tray, 12” LP sleeve, 12” LP, glossy-page book of film photos and scripts.
This rare “Let It Be” boxed set is offered for sale in good condition for its age, considering that in about 6 years time it will be officially antique!
I bought it new “when I was a lad” back in 1970. From about 1974 it has sat in my record collection basically doing nothing, so as a result it’s in good condition.
The outer sleeve is in good condition: it has a few minor scuffs and very minor creasing, but that’s all. I have read about some of these that have a red apple logo on the box: this one has a red & green apple on it – see photos.
The inner book tray is an original, has a few creases, but no tears and is in good condition.
The LP cover is in good condition with no creases and is still very glossy to look at.
The LP bears the number PCS7096 with YEX773 stamped in the vinyl on Side 1 and YEX 774 in the vinyl on side 2. It has no visible surface scratches, no spindle damage and, as far as I know, it plays OK (It hasn’t been played lately!).
The book, unlike others that I have read about, is still solidly bound together, and has no pages missing. Its front cover has a slight crease on the bottom right hand corner (see photo) but other than that it’s in pretty good condition.
