This version is the very first pressing, which has NO publishing credits to BMI or ASCAP (see label photos). There were roughly 2000 stereo copies of this manufactured before the first correction was made. Cover has "Beatles" in a Brown print (later pressings have "Beatles" in a Olive green print).
CONDITION DETAILS Vinyl plays perfectly and sounds great (played in it's entirety), there are some extremely light surface scratches, but nothing causes any kind of interference with the audio on my players. Light-scuffing on the front and back cover. Wear to the top-left-corner caused a small tear in top-left of cover (see photo), light-crease in top-right on back-cover, wear to the top of the spine (text is readable) . Mild-shelf-wear. Original blue inner-sleeve with ads (one seam is still solid, one has a small bit of record-break-through, the bottom seam is taped neatly at the center with clear tape).
This will be shipped securely in a 14x14x2 box and packaged carefully. The record is in a plastic sleeve and will be packaged outside the album cover. The cover is in a protective sleeve as well.
ABOUT THE RECORD Meet the Beatles! wasn't the first Beatles album released in the U.S. (that would've been Introducing the Beatles, on Vee Jay), but as the first Beatles album released by Capitol Records, it was indeed the LP where many millions of Americans were introduced to the Fab Four. As an introduction, there could hardly have been one better.
