Description
Here for you is an incredibly rare and collectable 'The Beatles' Parlophone 45 R.P.M Beatles 7" Microgroove Test Record.
Side 1 has the Beatles performing 'Please Please Me' and 'Love Me Do'.
Important: The Vinyl plays with crackles and noise, there are marks on the vinyl, it does not jump or skip. Sounds are noisier on Please Please Me.
See photos as there is writing on side A in Ink, 'Come on' has been crossed out and replaced with 'Please Please Me', presumably 'Hazel', who was checking the Pressing wrote the wrong song title and corrected it.
Side 2 is a Test sound.
Side A: Matrix; 7TCE 7.61 - 1N. Stampers; LEFT: 1 RIGHT: M TOP: MT.
The Matrix Number '7TCE 7.61'
was used on the b side of the second Beatles' E.P The Beatles' Hits issued on Parlophone, 6th September 1963, which had the tracks 'Please Please Me and Love Me Do'
SideB: LPFB.
Test pressings are proofs for the vinyl pressing, before the pressing plant would proceed and mass press the main vinyl record.
Only a handful of "test pressings" were produced for approval, they were made and given to Record Executives, Studio Staff and band members.
This is a truly fascinating piece of Beatles Recorded History, probably pressed around July/August 1963, when the Fab Four were exploding around the U.K.
An extremely super rare piece of Beatles Memorabilia and an essential item in every fans collection. The two early Beatles tracks on this vinyl record, were the beginning of a Music Phenomenon, that shaped and changed Muscial History.
