THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE, ME'
1963 1st Press UK *MONO* LP
On the Black & GOLD Parlophone label - PMC 1202
'Dick James' credits on both labels & 'Parlophone Co. Ltd.' rim texts.
'MZT' code on the side 1 label.
Correct 'E.J. Day' cover with 'Angus McBean' credit in the extreme lower right coner.
With original 'Use Emitex' lined inner.
Matrix: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N
Stampers: 1/A & 1/GR
Labels: EXCELLENT +
Record: VERY GOOD -
Not overplayed and the surfaces still have a good shine to them.
There are some noticeable surface marks and the occaisional light scratch.
A feelable mark causes 2 jumps and a stick on 'Anna' and 2 small jumps on 'Twist & Shout'.
Despite these faults the disc plays well with just some light background but no heavy distortion.
Cover: VERY GOOD +
Some light wear to the edges, corners and opening edges but no major faults.
The back is clean and white with a minor repair to the lower flipback but no marks or writing.
There are no seam splits and the spine is in perfect condition.
Strict grading under strong direct light to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards
