Description
This is an original copy of the BEATLES' first album from 1963. It carries the GOLD label copy from March 1963, which means, that it is among the first copies sold, since the label turned to yellow-black copies the very same month this album was initially pressed.
This is the version with the Dick James credits for "ASK ME WHY" and "PLEASE PLEASE ME" and northern songs for four other tracks.
The matrices are the very first ones 1N/1N
Thick vinyl, perfectly flat record. Some visual hairline surface marks, minimal surface noise - no clicks, jumps or any other sound problem.
Stricktly graded record is in a NEAR EXCELLENT condition, due to these hairline marks .
Laminated front cover has some minor creases, overall excellent and presentable. Printed by Earnest J. Day, easy to read spine details (in most records these are worn away). The Angus McBean photo credit is in the front under the "S" in songs.
It still is in the original polylined emitex inner sleeve, that has the "patents applied.." text.
