THE BEATLES – Vinyl LP – Please Please Me - Parlophone PMC 1202 -1963 - BLACK & GOLD LABEL - SECOND PRESSING
Original UK VINYL MONO LP PMC 1202 released on Parlophone Records in 1963.
This Record is a 2nd PRESSING as Side 1 tracks 1 & 2 and Side 2 tracks 4 & 6 are credited to Northern Songs Ltd and not Dick James Mus. Ltd.
This 2nd Pressing is Rarer than the 1st Pressing as only 12,000 were produced as opposed to about 25,000 1st pressings.
NO ‘Sold in UK’ text, just MADE IN GT. BRITAIN. Perimeter text ‘The Parlophone Co. Ltd.
This label was made in Mar/Apr 1963 as the ‘Recording First Published 1963’ not yet added.

Matrix:- XEX421-1N Mother No:- 2 Stamper:- GH. Tax code ‘MT’
This is a 1st Lacquer cut from the Master, 2nd Mother generated from that Lacquer, 17th Stamper generated from that Mother.
Condition : Label 95% perfect, bright and shiny, spindle shows no signs of wear to the naked eye, no graffiti. A few scuffs on vinyl, a 6mm scratch on track 7 and a couple of other light scratches, none of these can be felt with the fingertip.

Condition : Label much the same as side 1 except for the obvious tear as in photo, no graffiti. A few more scuffs on vinyl, and a light scratch on track 2, none of these can be felt with the fingertip.
Laminated Sleeve printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. London.
Photo : Angus McBean. “mono” lower case large print. Condition is Very Good with absolutely no graffiti or sellotape ever attached.
Original Inner Sleeve “Use ‘EMITEX’ Cleaning Cloth etc. Condition is Very Good+ with 1 crease, no graffiti or sellotape ever attached.
This Record was bought NEW by myself in 1963 and has not been played since the mid 1970's
