Description

Beatles Please Please Me Stereo Gold PCS 3042 Mega rare 1st press UK LP.

This is the mega rare 1st issue, 1st Beatles LP in stereo! With Dick James music publishing for the Beatles songs, this was later changed to Northern Songs on copies pressed a few weeks later.

The labels are free from writing - there is some spindle wear. The gold is still bright and readable. Please see pictures.

The vinyl is in good condition with some marks as seen in the pictures. None are these are really deep or feelable but there is some noise during play - this is under the music and never dominates the sound but is more prominent in the quieter tracks. The album plays loud and clear. No skips, sticks, jumps or anything to affect the playing of the album.

The cover is in good condition also, no stickers, tears or writing. There is some edge wear and a little wear to flip backs. Creasing and handling wear. It has the Angus McBean photo credit to the far right and after the last S in songs… so this is the original sleeve that came with this album.

Not a perfect copy but a rare record.

This album is often considered the holy grail or crowning glory in any Beatles collection.

A mega rare album in any condition.
