CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT +
As you can see this is a sparkling, clean & unblemished set with no wear or damage to any of the delicate gold print. There is a touch of wear around each centre hole but no scratches, spindle marks, writing or missing paper anywhere.
Visual: 1. EXCELLENT 2. EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces are extremely bright & clean with all of thier 'as new' deep-gloss shine still intact. The only significant visual blemishes visible in strong daylight occur on side 1 only and are three faint fingernail scuff lines, measuring approximately 5cms in length. There are a handful of less prominent ones on this side too but no scratches or other blemishes. Side 2 has a single light inner-sleeve removal mark but is otherwise totally unmarked. Close examination of both sides directly beneath my powerful and unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals none of the usual bag-rash or turntable scuffing, just a sparkling rainbow shine - it really is that good. Both sides of this outstanding copy lie 100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping to either side.
Play: EXCELLENT
A wonderful sounding copy with a power and presence unmatched by any subsequent pressing on any format. This example has recieved just some infrequent careful play on good equipment and is without any noticeable overall deterioration to the sound quality. All of the tracks played superbly throughout my careful play-check at volume with the only trace of play-wear I heard being on 'Twist & Shout'. The entire album plays without any clicks, pops or any other such interference. Copies above VG+ are extremely hard to come by, so don't miss this chance to invest in a superior copy. You won't be disappointed.
Cover
VERY GOOD
This correct and fully intact example displays general handling & storagewear commesurate with its 47 years, but no major faults. The front panel is bright & glossy with just some light edge wrinkles but no scratches or missing laminate. Both lower corners display some shelfwear and both opening edges have some minor wear to them but no major damage. The rear panel itself has some discolouration from handnling & storage but is free from any writing or missing paper. There is some wear to the lower flipback but all others are undamaged and intact. Both seams are smooth with no missing or flaking laminate and the spine is fully worded and undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with slight age-toning to the paper but no writing, tears or seam splits.
