CONDITION

Disc

Labels: EXCELLENT +

A super clean & unworn set with small collection of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT

Extremely clean & deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart from a handful of harmless light inner-sleeve removal marks, are free from any surface scuffs or scratches when viewed in strong daylight. Close inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp does little more than highlight these minor marks and adds a sparkling rainbow shine to the proceedings. Both sides of this well looked-after, heavy copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: VERY GOOD

Rich, warm & dry sound but some playwear is evident and shows itself as light background crackle on most tracks. The only other distraction I picked up on my single careful play-check was a few faint ticks on 'Good Day Sunshine', but there is little else to fault of any significance. Despite the minor background interference, it is still an enjoyable listen.

Cover

EXCELLENT

A strong & solid example with a clean and white front panel which bears just two 'thumbnails' towards the front opening edge. The corners & opening edges themselves are in great shape and are without any bumps, tears or feathering. The rear panel is clean & black where it should be with just a hint of wear behind John's head, but no writing or missing paper. All of the flipbacks are intact and unworn and both seams are smooth and unstressed. To top it off, the spine is perfectly clean and unworn.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT

Clean & crisp with just a few minor storage wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits anywhere.
