Condition

Labels: EXCELLENT +

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Both sides of this early copy are in remarkable condition. Each surface is clean bright and glossy and displays just a very faint 1.5cm inner-sleeve removal scuff on track 1 on side 1, but absolutely no other marks or wear in strong daylight. Close & careful inspection directly under halogen light reveals just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines from inner-sleeve removal but certainly no other marks or any scratches whatsoever. This superior quality heavy pressing lies unquestionably 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.

Play: EXCELLENT +

From an explosive, crystal clear introduction to 'Drive My Car', it is clear that this 1st class copy has received only careful play on excellent quality equipment. The superior '-2' cut retains its wonderful warm and clear sound on every track, with no traces of groovewear distortion or background noise in either channel. Even the easily and frequently damaged 'Michelle' plays perfectly without any break-up or wear. Both run-ins and all bands play without intereference and there are no clicks, pops or any other audible faults or wear throughout this exquisite sounding copy which will not disappoint.

Cover

EXCELLENT

An untarnished & firm example which retains a super glossy front laminate bearing just four small 'thumbnail' crerases but no other significant signs of wear. The corners have just slight brusing and the opening edges just a touch or light wear but no tears or feathering. The rear panel is clean and white all over with no handling marks, writing or missing paper. All flipbacks and seams are totally intact & unsplit. The spine is clean & square straight and displays a perfect undamaged text.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT -

Some minor age-toning and light storagewear but no split or tears.
