EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO FIND IN THIS ALL ROUND TOP CONDITION, UK **MONO** FIRST ISSUE, RICH, VIBRANT DEEP COLOURS TO THIS EXTREMELY GLOSSY LAMINATED SLEEVE, COMPLETE WITH UNUSED CUT OUT AND FLAME INNER BAG!!
This true Original UK FIRST ISSUE MONO Vinyl LP for The Beatles ICONIC Album 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' was released by Parlophone UK in 1967.
The Vinyl LP is on the traditional Black and Yellow Parlophone Label, with The Gramophone Co Ltd, with Sold in UK… and with Made in Gt Britain label text.
The official side 1 matrix is XEX 637-1. Side 2: XEX 638-1. Side 1 stampers are: 1RRH. Side 2: 3RDO,the embossed KT tax code is visible in the side 1 record label.
The Vinyl LP comes in its VERY NICE ORIGINAL ‘Made in Great Britain’, FLAME inner bag.
The album is protected in a FINE Mono Sgt Pepper sleeve. This ORIGINAL Fully laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Gatefold Sleeve, with internal Flip Backs within the Gatefold, is printed 'mono' to the top of the reverse.
To complete this FABULOUS album package, is an ORIGINAL, UNUSED Sgt Pepper Cut Out.
Both Record labels are in TRUE near mint condition, an UNWORN set of record labels, with only a few centre spider trails to either side. Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are, without question, in near mint condition. The Vinyl playing surfaces look STUNNING The Laminated Gatefold Sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition a glossy sleeve showing a small crease to the bottom right corner, and light laminate pinching to the front, the inner Gatefold is near mint All four corners are in great shape, no bending, and only the tiniest, minimal bruises. The reverse panel of the sleeve is also in great condition, The Unused Sgt Pepper Cut Out is near mint, perfectly square and flat, no bends The Flame Inner Bag is in FABULOUS condition, with NO tearing just a small 3”inch split to one of the seams and only a little mild inevitable creasing.
I have played the album once carefully throughout - it sounds SUPERB. Pure, RICH, POWERFUL MONO sound quality through ALL the tracks, with the exception of a couple of light clicks on the track It's Getting Better.
MONO Versions of probably the most talked about Beatles album of all time are now VIRTUALLY EXTINCT. A TOP all round example, which could not disappoint any collector!
