THE BEATLES - 'SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND'
1967 UK EMI RECORDS PROMOTIONAL POSTER
**ULTRA-RARE & 100% ORIGINAL**
This is an extremely rare original UK EMI promotional poster printed and issued in 1967 for the 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' LP.
Printed on matt paper it measures: 44 x 62.5cms (17.3" x 24.6")
CONDITIONA 'working poster' for most of its life, general display wear/damage is evident. However with some minor restoration & framing it would be an outstanding display item. The poster's most significant defect is that it has been trimmed a few millimetres along the bottom edge meaning that the words: 'The Greatest Recording Organisation In The World' are missing below the EMI 'globe' logo which remains intact. As you can see, there are some small sections of missing paper to the upper corners and two pin-holes to the lower ones. There are also some small areas of tape staining to the upper corners, upper centre edge and across 'Paul's legs and two further small tears to the upper and lower parts of the main centre fold.
The LP cover is there just to give you a clearer indication of size and is not part of this lot.
