THE BEATLES - 'SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND'
1969 UK 'ONE E.M.I. BOX **MONO** PRESSING
*SUPERB COPY & APPLE POSTER*
'Sgt. Pepper' was one of only 3 mono titles to make the transition to the 'One EMI Box' label in late 1969.
Just a few hundred were produced and they sold poorly making it extremely hard to locate today.
This copy is 100% complete with cut-out sheet & original Apple advertising poster.
This very rare 1969 MONO pressing is on the 'One EMI Box' label Parlophone label: PMC 7027
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text, but carry 'Gramophone Co. Ltd...' rims.
There is no tax/price code visible on either label.
Housed in a fully laminated, inner-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' mono cover.
Complete with original white 'Patent Nos..' inner-sleeve, cut-out sheet & Apple advertising poster.

Just a few small & light spindle trails.
Visual: EXCELLENT PLUS
Rarely played with pristine, clean & bright surfaces which appear NEAR MINT in daylight.
Close inspection directly under a halogen desk lamp reveal some wispy paper/sleeve removal hairlines but no heavy surface marks or any scratches.
Quality, sharp-edged vinyl which lies 100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Carefully listening at volume reveals absolutely no crackle or groovewear on any track - even 'She's Leaving Home' sounds perfect.
Both run-ins and the final fade-out play completely silently with no crackle, pops or other audible wear.
Elsewhere, everything plays as new with no ticks, hiss, jumps or repeats.
This was the final mono pressing of the 1960's and arguably the best sounding - You will not be disappointed.
Cover: EXCELLENT
The front panel retains its high-gloss laminate bearing a few spine wirnkles and 4 small 'thumbnails' but no heavy creases.
There are a few small areas of wear to the laminate along the top edge but no missing paper.
The upper left corner has a slight bruise but the others and the opening edges are sharp & clean with slight wear only.
The rear panel is bright & clean with just a few small 'thumbnails' but the inside gatefold is in perfect undamaged condition.
The spine has a 2cms laminate split from the top down but is otherwise undamaged and all the wording in perfect shape.
All seams are strong, unstressed & unsplit.
Cut-out Sheet: NEAR MINT
Apple Poster: EXCELLENT
Factory folded with just 3 small spots on the 'White Album' picture but no tears or other faults.
Strict visual grading in daylight and directly under a halogen desk lamp & audibly at volume on high-end audio equipment
