The Beatles - With the Beatles / Please Please Me / Beatles For Sale / A Hard Day's Night / Help! (Parlophone UK mono 1963 onwards)
Rare opportunity to buy a bundle of the first five albums released by The Beatles - With the Beatles / Please Please Me / Beatles for sale / A Hard Day's Night / Help!. Issued from 1963 to 1965, these are all first or early mono pressings with the black and yellow Parlophone labels and the Emitex lined inner sleeves.
They've been well loved but have plenty of life in them yet.
Sleeves are generally Very Good - some signs of wear, creasing here and there, corner wear etc but still in solid shape. Overall I would say the front covers are more like VG+, while the back covers range from Good+ to VG.
The vinyl holds up very well and for the most part they play to solid VG+ level - no major scratches, no skips, a little surface noise at times and the odd pop. They retain their gloss and while there are hairlines, there's nothing that has a major impact on the audio.
The labels in most cases have a name label on Side 1, which grades Good to VG. Side 2 in most cases is VG+ or better.
The Emitex inner sleeves are in VG to VG+ order - some have waxed liners, others plastic.
Spines are all clear and readable.
