I have a beatles yesterday and today infamous butcher cover. It is in good condition, see photos. The spine is pretty much split. The lp has many light scratches and a couple more visible ones, again see photos. I cannot feel any of the scratches. 
What im not sure about is whether its for sure 3rd state or not. From what i gather it appears to be. Im no expert on this so please ask any and all questions you may have to verify it is what you're thinking it is
