Description

The Beatles "Yesterday And Today"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Capitol T-2553 from 1966.   This is a Mono copy.    The Butcher cover is in the third state : the trunk cover has been peeled off revealing the Butcher cover underneath.    The number at the bottom of the back cover is '6'.

The songs are : Drive My Car, I'm Only Sleeping, Nowhere Man, Dr. Roberts, Yesterday, Act Naturally, And Your Bird Can Sing, If I Needed Someone, We Can Work It Out, What Goes On ?, and Day Tripper.

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG- /  Record is G+

The cover is VG-.   There is light paper haze on the whole front cover, from the trunk cover.     There are small cover tears : top right on the record number, top left by the Capitol Dome, middle left, bottom right above Ring's knee, and all along the right edge in the glue circles.   There are very tiny tears and rubs in other places.     The bottom seam has light wear, the top seam has light wear with 1/2 inch worn off at top right, and the left seam has a repaired seven inch seam split.      On the back cover there is light ring wear and a tiny writing at top right.     The vinyl looks near VG-  and it plays G +.    There are many light scuffs on Side one and many more light scuffs on side two.    It plays through with static on every song and loud static between songs.    The labels are clean with no spindle marks.  The record comes in a Capitol Records 1966 inner sleeve.

About Me :

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 5 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.     I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      I you do win more than one record, please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.

Serious Bidders Only :

Serious bidders only.    If you bid you must be prepared to honor your bid.     I expect payment within three days, but will wait up to five days, if you contact me.      I no longer accept bids from buyers with more than two strikes against them.     I do not hold records to fill a box.
