The Beatles/The Collection/Mobile Fidelity Box set of 13 titles, 14-LPs/EMI-MFSL. This is just the box and the 14 LPs. No Geo disc. No art booklet. Each of the LPs has the original cover and insert, and the original anti-static inner sleeve. The MFSL pressings were half-speed mastered, then plated and pressed by JVC Japan. VG (records - I have play-graded this entire set. I used this set to make a nice set of CDs for myself. Over the entire 14 LPs, there are about 7 or 8 "ticks." The vinyl looks spectacular! Also, the jackets are labelled with round stickers that say "FIRST", so I am assuming these albums were sealed with the audiophile record protection product of that name)/VG (box-is generally in nice shape, has a couple of light marks, and the top seam on the left door does have just a bit of splitting - I've tried to picture it in the photos but it doesn't show very well. The cover shown has a light glint from a window that looks like markings...it's not, it's just light. All the individual jackets and inners are perfect - except, this set, when new, was a gift, and written on the front of the Sgt. Pepper inside liner is the following in blue pen (shown at right): Merry Christmas 1984 Enjoy! Love, Alfred) (I rarely use near mint or mint grading, so take a look, and a listen! I grade tough, and many customers report items received as better than described...see my feedback). Although missing the geo disc and the art booklet, this is an excellent opportunity to get really nice copies of all the MFSL LPs and the storage case at a modest price. Any cropping is the scan NOT the box cover.
