Description
The Beatles-The Collection(MFSL)(Box Set). Here it is. The most collectable of Beatles Collections. The Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's collection of all the Beatles British(Parlophone/EMI) albums. Limited Edition (#13,030 of 25,000) Set. All 14 albums plus Geodisk( to align your cartridge). Album Covers in a deluxe booklet. Albums half-speed mastered from original master tapes from Abbey Road Studios. Half-speed mastering allows twice as much time for the master disc cutting system to capture every sonic detail with far superior dynamic range, top end and overall frequency response plus improved stereo separation. Albums pressed in Japan on Super Vinyl. Super Vinyl gives each Original Master Recording an extraordinarily quiet playing surface. It is heavier and harder than ordinary vinyl. And it has no "memory"... you can play an Original Master Recording over and over without having to let the disc rest after each playing. The lifespan of an Original Master Recording is many times longer than a conventional, mass produced Lp. The Super Vinyl discs are so pure you can actually see through them. The discs are inserted into anti-static, anti-abrasive "rice paper" sleeves. Those are enclosed in a reinforced stiff insert board. The combined Lp, sleeve and stiffener are then inserted into a custom fabricated album jacket showing a photo of the original studio tape. Excellent Condition. Minor damage to case(see photos). Expected oxidation to brass hinges and latch. The discs are pristeen, never played. No returns due to possibility of copying.
