The last original UK Beatles album to be pressed in mono and the rarest issue in this format, as by 1969, the demand for stereo discs was much greater

The Vinyl
Visually: Both sides have retained a superb deep gloss lustre, with no groove fading or surface scuffs - numerous, careless needle/handling lines, moreso on side 2
Audio: Sound quality is exceptional, with all tracks performing with total clarity and no appreciable deterioration - occasional mild pop on side 1 but nothing much - there are pops and clicks throughout side 2, mainly fairly mild but accentuated by the quietness of the instrumental tracks - the whole album plays through from start to finish without any stalls or skips

The Labels
Top condition, with vibrant text - no spotting or writing - usual spindle trails

The Cover
Garrod and Lofthouse original, with red lines on the back - missing printers credit on lower flip back - completely intact but no beauty contest winner - laminate wrinkles and bends throughout - back panel is a bit grubby and age toned

The Inner Sleeve
Original single die cut, matt black - great condition for this fragile, paper product - very tiny central seam splits, from disc edge - mild creasing - hole is near perfect, just a small tear
