The Beatles - 'Yellow Submarine' LP. PMC 7070
The Beatles 1969 UK 1st MONO pressing of the 'Yellow Submarine' LP. Released on the 17th January 1969, this is the rarest UK Beatles album to be released in the mono format. It is offered here FULLY COMPLETE.
Released on the Apple Records label both sides feature the 'Sold in UK....' text. Both sides also feature the very earliest matrix numbers for this record - XEX 715-1 and XEX 716-1. The vinyl is housed within the original black die cut inner sleeve. Interestingly this MONO vinyl is housed within a STEREO sleeve. I have seen several examples of this album housed like this so I am confident this is how it originally came. In addition, the rear of the sleeve has an ’A IS FOR APPLE RECORDS’ sticker coving the stereo wording. A rare MONO Beatles LP.

Side 1. XEX 715-1 2 P
Side 2. XEX 716-1 1 M
The vinyl is in GOOD++ condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition.
The sleeve is in GOOD++ condition.
The inner sleeve is in FAIR condition. I will include an additional sleeve to protect the original.
