Berliner 1869 - John Terrell
Tim Finnigan's Wake
Here is a delightful comic song from September of 1898. There is no take indication on this pressing, and it has bold handwritten title and artist information. This record is 118 years old, so some wear and tear is to be expected. Matching it to other Berliners of the same era, it is a little below average with many surface rubs, scratches and a rough start. There are no cracks, pits, chips or other defects that affect play - just a noisy surface. However, played with a proper stylus, it is still a very enjoyable comic Irish song.
