- Bill Evans Acetate - US Army Dance Band - Jazz 1951

We've spent hours upon hours researching throughout the internet about this acetate as well as Bill Evans.What makes these acetates so rare is it seems that these acetates are apparently the only two recordings that Bill Evans made while he was in the US army . We double checked to make sure that Bill Evans was actually in the army at that time and of course he was. Both acetates are in VG++ condition with small scratches , a notch on the edge of one of them and something sticky on the edge of the other (all pictured). If any of you have further information on these acetates, let us know and we will post it. Own a part of American jazz history!!!

Both acetates came from the estate of a family member, one of the players listed in the band on the acetate.

M : (Mint) Unopened or never played, no scratches or marks on the vinyl at all
NM : (Near Mint)  Near Perfect, played rarely if ever
VG++:  (Very Good) Almost like news only superficial signs of use that do not effect play. Very well cared for
VG+: (Very Good) Some slight signs of wear may have slight sleeve scuffs or small scratches that do not effect play
VG :(Very Good) Surface noise will be noticeable but will not overpower the music, more noticeable scuffs and light scratches
VG- : (Very Good)  Vinyl will play but may have surface noise on some tracts, signs of heavy use or wear .
