Hi, thanks for looking at my listing, been sneaking too many records under the radar so been told to thin the collection (again). All are at least Ex vinyl and Ex cover unless stated otherwise, all are play tested, hopefully you can see enough to make your mind up but if not then please ask and i will provide further information.
Ok, this is not normally what i would have in my collection, I bought this along with half a dozen similar Jazz records from a local record shop about 10 years ago, Art Blakey, Oscar Peterson, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, all of which I think were re-issues, this being the runt of the litter, the albums were bought on the basis of me having some easy to get into Jazz records in my collection so the owner of the shop suggested these titles, I have listened to them all about twice, this one again prior to listing.
I have tried to grade this as accurately as possible, if you are after a mint copy with no marks or surface noise then this is not for you, but don't get me wrong this is very listenable with no skips or jumps, it has the odd light crackle but this does not diminish the listening pleasure, under a very strong light, light surface marks can be seen but cannot be felt, the vinyl still has a nice shine to it.
The sleeve is also in very good condition, there is a small amount of delamination in the top right corner of the front, shown in a photo, there is 2 inch split at the bottom also photographed, the spine is still has square edges and the text is legible, the rear of the sleeve is as I imagine it was on the day it was sold.
Not bad for a 59 year old record.
