7" orange vinyl in a hand stamped sleeve and label.
Distressed & folded print designed by Jamie Reid and Billy Childish with a real safety pin pinned through the mouth of Thatcher, a 7” vinyl recording of Thatcher’s Children by CTMF played to the tune of London Calling by The Clash, a DVD of the music video for Thatcher’s Children. All housed in a 7” box with a paper label on the lid.
Also includes a photocopy of a cease and desist letters from Universal Music, denial letter & CTMF’s letter, and a DVD of the video.
Constructed by the L-13 Light Industrial Workshop. All covers hand-stamped and the lid is stamped, numbered and signed by Billy Childish.

Billy re-recorded his song Thatcher’s Children to the tune of London Calling but his normal record label wasn’t keen to release it due to copyright and licensing concerns. L-13 decided it to put it out in a very small edition for L-13 subscribers only, so it would go below the radar. This then developed into the idea that it should be part of a box set and L-13 asked Jamie if he’d design a print for it. The artwork from London Calling was also appropriated for the cover.
Playing on the idea of licensing trouble L-13 thought it would be fun to have a letter from Universal threatening to sue for breach of copyright with one returned from L-13 explaining mitigating circumstances, that the recording was just part of an extended artwork. The edition was released online including the details of the letters. Despite the fact the letters were obviously diabolical and fake, some people believed they were real and reposted them online decrying Universal’s harsh treatment of Billy.
