  • DESCRIPTION: Black Sabbath- Paranoid LP.  Complete and original early UK pressing with big swirl labels, matt gate-fold sleeve, correct swirl inner dated 0970 and 1st variant 1Y//1?420 19(?2) 14/ 2Y//1?420 11 20 matrix.  Basically this is the complete and original first pressing after the Big Bear issue. Postage cost includes insurance, tracking and a box/cruciform mailer.  Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. I only use Royal Mail.  LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 011: YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970. COUNTRY OF RELEASE:  UK:  CONDITION (VINYL/COVER):VG/VG+. Vinyl is clean with some hairlines and a few thin soft surface lines. Played all of this this morning on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Music is loud and prominent and plays through easily without jumps or sticks. "War Pigs" displays some soft ticks in the early quieter passages. "Paranoid" and "Iron Man" play clean and loud , "Planet Caravan" has some light ticks but the music is still really loud and prominent.   "Electric Funeral" plays through very nicely, clear and loud.  "Hand Of Doom" has ticks in the quietest passages until the music builds. "Rat Salad" plays clean and loud throughout. "Fairies Wear Boots" has a few ticks in the first few minutes. Matt cover is in great shape, much better than average. It retains great shape, is firm and square and has light edge wear (moderate to front bottom edge), moderate corner wear and light creasing. Good shape retained to fully legible spine. Very clean inside of gate fold- no faults at all. No ringwear at all- check out the photos. Original swirl inner is in nice condition with light-ish wear and yellowing, no splits and fully attached poly. 2 x 1cm tears around centre hole on one side. Very clean labels- just check out the photos.  No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. 100% original and complete early UK press. Looks and sounds great... I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
