Please read this before you bid: I will ONLY accept payment through Paypal for this item. I will NOT accept checks of any sort or wire transfers. Please be prepared to complete the transaction within one week of the close of auction. If you do not, the item will be offered to the next highest bidder. Winning bidder will pay for registered shipping and insurance. I ship LPs in sturdy cardboard LP mailers. If you prefer another shipping method, please ask before you bid so that we can work out details. I am happy to do returns, provided the item is returned to me in the same condition as when it left my hands, e.g. if I shipped it sealed and it returns unsealed that is NOT the same condition. Buyer will pay return shipping costs. If you are not o.k. with these conditions, please do not bid. Otherwise, if you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them to the best of my ability, but please ask them before the auction ends, not after.

What you are bidding on:

This is the very rare Black Seeds LP issued by the Entertainment Division of the U.S. Army Special Services Agency, Europe documenting the winners of the Second Annual Showband Contest in 1972. It is catalog number CEC-LP15. It is a split LP with side one performed by The Black Seeds and side two performed by Sound Trek. The track listing is as follows:

The Black Seeds
A side:
Go Outside In The Rain
Ain't No Sunshine
Black Magic Woman
Do Your Thing
Backstabbers

Sound Trek
B side:
Intro - Kool And The Gang
Walking In The Rain
Coldest Day Of My Life
If Loving You Is Wrong
I Love Everything About You

The condition of the vinyl is mint, as this has never been opened, never played. It is still in the original shrink wrap. The gatefold cover I would grade as NM- with the issues being the most minimal of ring wear on the back cover and corners that are less than sharp. There are no cuts, no holes punched and the spine is tight. I am starting the bidding at the same low point I start all my LPs but it is not a reflection on the condition of the item. I guarantee you will be pleased. Good luck!
