Condition:
Vinyl: G, considerable wear, fully tested, incredibly no skips or repeats, clean labels and spindles (deep groove 45s still carry decent sound overall); Cover: VG+, light rubbing and edge wear, quite clean.
Description:
This hard to find 2x double record set contains authentic Bahama Islands recordings from the legendary Blind Blake, the influential early 20th Century ragtime/blues singer and guitarist. There are 21 songs total, many obviously cut from the original hand crank phonographs. Whoever was responsible for cutting vinyl at ART records in the 1950s deserves some recognition for creating some of the most durable records of all time - a nice package overall.
