Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited Vinyl LP - Original UK 1965 Copy Rare Version

Selling-up my extensive record collection. There are two different versions of the UK first issue of this album - differences to the covers. Mine is exactly this on discogs -  www.discogs.com/Bob-Dylan-Highway-61-Revisited/release/11052584 My version seems to be the rarer type.

Pictures are my own photos of the items for sale. Photos are part of the description, have a good look. Quality of photos is not great this week, I'm having a bit of a wrestling-match with my digital camera.

Cover - not bad - front laminated with flipbacks, edges very good, little cracks to the lamination leading in from the edges, and a bend at the bottom of the opening (easy to see in my picture). Wear to corners, especially at the opening. Yellowish, and grubby along the opening, where lamination doesn't reach to the edge. Back again shows grubbiness along the edges of the lamination on the flipbacks. Flipbacks very sound, but with creasing at bottom of opening. Some fingermarks, and yellowed towards the opening. Little stains near bottom towards the right corner. Having said all that, NOT torn or split or written-on.

Record - looks very good - I can see, on side one, a light scratch across track one, and a light mark or stain also on track one. On side two, there are some light streaky marks on track 3. I have play-tested the two tracks - Like A Rolling Stone plays excellently, I heard just one light (distant background!) click on this track. On Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues, two quiet clicks at start and one loud "scritch" sound, also at the start. General sound is excellent, not worn-out at all.

I have been collecting records for 50 years (when finances allowed!), and now it's time to sell-up. I bought them mostly around local shops (second-hand), but sometimes from e-bay, and sometimes new, for my favourite bands.

When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad.

Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices. Combined postage may or may not be possible through the Program - if e-bay shows combined postage for their courier job, I'll do combined postage for the transit inside UK. I can't see information about this until you pay.

International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.
