Brahms Requiem Klemperer Aust Columbia SAXO 2430 / 2431
Elizabeth Schwarzkopf, Fischer-Dieskau and the Philharmonia Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Otto Klemperer perform the Brahm’s “German Requiem”. A two record set, this is an original Australian stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAXO 2430/2431). The labels are blue/green with silver radio waves and border, and black stereophonic flash. The records are of excellent appearance and play and sound superb with occasional low-level surface noise. The English covers have rubbed with other minor wear.
