On offer here is the VERY RARE AND NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ORIGINAL UK DANDELION LP OF BRIDGET ST. JOHN'S THANK YOU FOR...FROM 1972.The much underrated singer-songwriter recorded several albums for John Peel's Dandelion label and,i believe,this was her second.Backed by many fine musicians,this lovely album really showcased her fine voice and strong song-writing.

The album sleeve just shows slight signs of wear around the edges and down the spine of the gatefold and there is a sticker on the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve(which i won't try and remove).I would rate the sleeve as VG+ or EX-.

The labels are clean and bright and would grade as EX, without hesitation.

This brings me on to the condition of the vinyl,and as i know this record can go for high prices,i will try to be as honest and accurate as possible.Firstly,i must say that the record plays fine,with absolutely no skips or jumps,but it does come with some light underlying crackle through the record and i will try to expand on that.The crackle is mainly noticable between tracks and during very quiet parts and is hard to pick up on when the music really gets going.The vocals and instumentation  for the majority of the album show clarity,sharpness and power,but the underlying crackle does seem to cause a very mild distortion of Bridget's vocals on the last track of Side 1.It really is very mild,though.Side 2 is better,with again a slight underlying crackle at times,but clarity and sharpness restored.I have to say that both sides of the record are quite noisy on ejection at the ends,but,of course,the music has ended by then.So no potential buyer is disappointed,i am going to grade the vinyl as VG.
