You are bidding on the impossible to find “Monster Movie” Lp, one of the rarest German psych progressive krautrock Albums. Only 500 of this private Pressing were made, any later release shows a different artwork. An amazing milestone in music. It is from my private collection and I’m only selling it because I desperately need the money. Cover has some ringwear, discoloration and a tiny sticker residue but no seams splits, record has two slight scuffs (1/2 inch long) on one side do not produce any noise at all, apart from that in mint condition. You might never see this record in this condition again.
CAN released this in 1969. The cover says “monster movie – made in a castle with better equipment”. The Label is “SCHEISSHOUSE RECORDS / MUSIC FACTORY” (SRS 001). Bands like “Einsturzende Neubauten”, “Bauhaus”, “The Fall”, and “Kraftwerk” quoted CAN as their most important influence. CAN were ways ahead of their time. On this record, the members were: Holger Czukay (“hot from Vietnam, technical laboratory chief & red armed bass”, Jackie Liebezeit (“propulsion engeneer & mystic spale chart reader”), Irmin Schmidt, Michael Karoli and Malcolm Mooney.
