CARCASS - Reek Of Putrefaction LP (BLACK Vinyl),12'' NEW, Grindcore, IMPALED
Grindcore Release Date:Limited Edition:
Special: Re-Released Classic 29,99 EUR inkl. MwSt. Artikelbeschreibung Weitere Hinweise
It was an unbelivable shock in 1988 when CARCASS released ''Reek Of Putrification'' debut album with its 22 songs for the first time. Here you get a hitherto unprecedented native Grindcore album blown around your ears, which serves everything you expect from this style today. Crisp mid-tempo parts and, of course, a lot of furious grind firing, as well as a lot of sick vocals that oscillate back and forth between Jeff Walker's screams and Bill Steer's deep growling, and of course the typical, kicked CARCASS lyrics, which can be understood as the icing on the cake and the tolerance limit of many Grandmother is likely to exceed kilometers. The fusion between Grindcore and the downright disgusting lyrics, which are just as extremely performed and also supported by the extremely tasty cover artwork, was quite revolutionary for the time. Interesting to see the small print on the reverse of the album, "Hands, face, space. Save the NHS. No underlying conditions. Unauthorised super-spreading events are a violation of lockdown laws." Sign of the times interpreted from CARCASS on this 2021s re-isue in limited black vinyl with printed innersleeve.
