Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now.  Here is what you're bidding on:  
TITLE & ARTIST: "Carolina Tar Heels" - by The Carolina Tar Heels on the Folk-Legacy Records label (FSA-24), in beautiful original sound, released in 1964. 
CONDITION: JACKET - Near Mint(Jacket has extremely light wear - please see actual album in photo); VINYL - Near Mint(Vinyl glows with vitality - Visually Graded under custom spotlight).  
SPECIAL FEATURES: This very rare "Carolina Tar Heels" album features wonderful traditional songs from the great "old-time" catalog, played by three of the best and most engaging musicians of that era: Dock Walsh, Drake Walsh and Garley Foster, aka The Carolina Tar Heels. Wonderful music. Extremely hard to find in any condition, this is a real jewel. SPECIAL NOTE: Back cover notes are extensive, informative, and a delight to read.

SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
