This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK 1ST PRESSING COPY - NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL / NWOBHM / SKA - 2 TONE - single by CHILD’S PLAY from 1981, ORIGINAL UK 1ST PRESSING COPY IN AMAZING NEAR MINT CONDITION VINYL !!!
This is a RARE AND GREAT - NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL / 2-TONE SKA - ORIGINAL UK 1ST PRESSING COPY single that RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE !!! This was CHILD’S PLAY one and only single release and was a private pressing on their own label !!! It is a bit of a schizophrenic single, with side A. being a 2-TONE / SKA type track, while the B. side is a GREAT - NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL track which you can hear a clip of above. This single NEVER came in a picture sleeve.
The tracks are: PLAYGROUND ROMANCE / ESCAPE.
The single came out on the band's own label CABLE RECORDS catalogue number VHF 1.
VISUAL ONLY condition of the vinyl is: EX+++ / NEAR MINT condition (AMAZING CONDITION !!! light scuffs), comes in the original white die cut sleeve !!!
