On offer here is a VERY rare double LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Colosseum called "Colosseum - Live" and is an ORIGINAL 1971 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Bronze labels!!!! THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS EASILY COLOSSEUM'S RAREST LP EVER TOP FIND IN TOP CONDITION - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE LIKE THIS!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1971 WHEN THIS DOUBLE LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS IN ABSOLUTELY AWESOME CONDITION!!!!   AND THIS IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS DOUBLE LP!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN EXACTLY WHY THIS DOUBLE LP IS SO HARD TO FIND IN TOP CONDITION!!!!  WHEN THIS DOUBLE LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, A NEW STYLE OF 'COVER' WAS BEING INTRODUCED, AND WAS KNOWN AS AN 'AV/PAK' COVER!!!!  TO SAVE MONEY - IT INVOLVED USING A SINGLE SHEET OF CARD, AND INSIDE WERE 2 PLASTIC 'POUCHES' DESIGNED TO HOLD THE RECORDS!!!!  THIS WAS DESIGNED TO ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR INNER SLEEVES AND ALSO A SECOND SHEET OF CARDBOARD.  HOWEVER - ITS DESIGN WAS FUNDAMENTALLY FLAWED!!!!  ON THE INSIDE ON EACH PLASTIC 'POUCH' WAS A STRIP OF 'FOAM' DESIGNED TO HOLD THE RECORDS IN PLACE.  HOWEVER - NO ONE AT THE TIME REALISED THAT THE FOAM HAD A CHEMICAL IN IT WHICH BADLY REACTED WITH THE VINYL - MAKING ANY VINYL LEFT IN CONTACT WITH IT DAMAGED FOREVER!!!!  AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHY 99% OF COPIES TODAY - HAVE BAD MARKS ON THE EDGES OF EACH OF BOTH RECORDS, CAUSING A VERY LOUD NOISE WHEN PLAYED!!!!  BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!!  LUCKILY THE 1 PREVIOUS OWNER OF THIS DOUBLE LP HAD A 'HOUSE MOVE' ONLY 1 YEAR AFTER HE BOUGHT THIS DOUBLE LP AND PUT BOTH RECORDS INTO PLAIN WHITE INNERS SO NOT TO DAMAGE TO THE COVER ON THE MOVE!!!!  AND HE LEFT THEM IN THE PLAIN WHITE INNERS EVER SINCE, AND PUT BOTH THE RECORDS & COVER IN THE PLASTIC SLEEVE TO PROTECT THIS DOUBLE LP FOREVER!!!!  AS A RESULT - THIS DOUBLE LP HAS REMAINED IN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING CONDITION - AND EVEN HAS ITS ORIGINAL 'DOUBLE ALBUM' PRICE STICKER ON THE COVER FRONT - COMPLETELY UNTOUCHED SINCE THE DAY IT WAS BOUGHT!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT BOTH OF THE 'RED PLASTIC' INSIDE POUCHES ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION & COMPLETELY UNSPLIT!!!!  THE REST OF THE COVER AND BOTH OF THE RECORDS ARE ALSO IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION ASWELL - AND HAVE BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1971 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS BRONZE LABELS, 1ST PRESS 'RED PLASTIC' INNER SLEEVES (ATTACHED TO THE INSIDE OF THE COVER!), 2 PLAIN WHITE INNERS (THESE ARE EXTRA TO PROTECT THE RECORDS & COVER FULLY!), AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD 'STICKERED' COVER!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Bronze UK 1st Pressing from 1971 and is in AWESOME condition!!!!  The records are pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is ICD 1 on the 1st Press Bronze Labels (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels on BOTH records are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THESE RECORDS HAVE BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in AWESOME condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s Double LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and BOTH records have NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, only the MEGA faintest trace of a watermark on 1 set of run on grooves ONLY (NONE elsewhere - and this is ONLY visible under the most EXTREME light possible!), and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  BOTH RECORDS STILL RETAIN THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOK AWESOME!!!!  It is great to find that both records play as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO background sound (apart from the MEGA faintest touch on the run on grooves ONLY!), and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The records must grade Excellent++++ if not better!!!!  WHAT AN AWESOME SET OF RECORDS!!!!  Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The 1st Press Gatefold 'Stickered' Cover is in absolutely AWESOME condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour!), barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is AMAZINGLY flat looking!), NO rubbing, NO ringwear, a PERFECT MINT front 'cover sticker', and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO rubbing, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The inside 'red plastic' pouches work PERFECTLY and are completely UNSPLIT!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent++++!!!!  AWESOME COVER!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SO OFTEN WRONGLY UNDERATED - BUT JUST TRY FIND ONE IN THIS AWESOME CONDITION AGAIN!!!!  IF YOU WANT ONE IN 'VG' CONDITION, WITH A SET OF MARKED VINYLS - THEN THIS DOUBLE LP IS CERTAINLY GETTABLE. BUT FINDING ONE IN THIS SUPERB CONDITION - IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
