And here's a very enjoyable original WAR DEPARTMENT RADIO PROGRAM TRANSCRIPTION DISC containing a complete 30-minute episode of the armed forces radio series: "COMMAND PERFORMANCE".
This program aired on November 24, 1944 and featured announcer KEN CARPENTER, hostess GINNY SIMMS, harmonica player LARRY ADLER, AL PEARCE, THE SPORTSMEN, CARLOS RAMIREZ, J. CALVIN JACKSON and DIANA LYNN.
This is an original 16" WAR DEPARTMENT disc, issued to AFRS radio stations and it's in a protective sleeve.
The disc is clean and uncracked; the recording is in very good condition.
See scans of the labels for both sides of the disc. There are no skips and no scratches.
