This lp is just one fine example from the massive and brilliant OLD HIPPIE COLLECTION that I am listing for auction this week. This collection is personally known to me......is being sold on consignment and is a simply amazing offering of classic rock, folk, hard rock, psych, seminal pressings, promos and sealed copies with most being top flight original pressings.

This is the ABSOLUTE FIRST PRESSING and an unbelievably rare artifact. There is an extra song on each side that is not listed on the labels or cover or custom inner sleeve. I also believe that the extra songs make this lp a much different listening experience and makes this essentially a DIFFERENT album from every other copy out there. Even though I have been counting the songs on each side of these copies since the lp came out........this is only the 3rd one I have ever seen and the other two were thrashed! This has been completely play graded. It has light surface noise throughout the entire lp with some light snaps and light pops. Nothing overwhelming NOR EVEN annoying. But it is there and I would rate the play grade at a higher vg+ grade. It really does play great. It includes its original lyric sleeve with no splits.

GRADING: I try to give an accurate representation of the record with a numerical value. I infer that the records should play their visual grade. I have given a numerical grade to correspond to typical record grading for the approximate percentage of wear. For example, excellent/85 means the disc should have about 15% wear/marks from a NEW record. Sealed records should be new. By looking at the photos you can find band info and song titles.

NEAR MINT = 92-99

EXCELLENT/NEAR MINT =89-91 (borderline near mint)

EXCELLENT = 82-88

VG+/EXCELLENT = 79-81 (borderline excellent)

VG+ = 72-78

VG/VG+ = 69-71 (borderline vg+)

VG =62-68

RECORD CONDITION/GRADE: The disc grades visually at vg+/excellent/80. The labels are excellent/near mint/89. The cover is excellent/85 with shelf, seam, spine, opening and corner wear along with corner dings, top right corner dent/damage and light crease at bottom right corner.
